In the video, which was shared on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, Lawson can be seen dressed in a patterned gown while dancing to the beat of Apes, Beyoncé and Jay-Z´s new single.

She shared the moment with her friends, fans and followers on Instagram so they could all witness where Beyoncé, one of the biggest names in the music industry, got her moves from.

Despite giving it all, the proud mother and grandmother didn't have any problem admitting that her 'awkward shoulder move' wasn't enough to beat Blue Ivy.

“This is my dance-off with Blue !! She beat me of course! We had to make up an original dance move. My awkward shoulder move was my made up dance.”

She also confessed that she knew that it was an unfair dance-off, considering that her competition was 6 years old, but Blue Ivy didn't give her a chance and took home an easy win.

In order to show the world how much fun they were having, Lawson turned to the camera and announced that it was 'corny joke time,' before proceeding to tell a joke that she credited to her daughter.

After saying 'knock knock,' Beyoncé and Blue Ivy's voices asked 'who's there,' to which Lawson replied with 'Obama.' When asked 'Obama who,' the famous and free-spirited mother started singing All By Myself by Eric Carmen.

According to People, Beyoncé and Jay-Z had been planning to travel with their children - Blue Ivy and 1-year-old twins Rumi and Sir - as part of their On The Run Tour II.

Despite the couple's very busy schedule, they always find time to spend with their bundles of joy, although they sometimes prefer to go on a children-free date, such as the one when they visited The Arts Club, in Mayfair, last month.
