Wearing a black sleeveless T-shirt that reads “Fabulous Fierce and Fit,” the pair prove they “still GOT IT” as Mo’Nique describes them in her caption. The dance number begins with a slow grind and escalates into a more complicated choreography with butt-shaking, twists and turns, and a lot of arm movement. Along with her slim figure, Mo’Nique exhibits her flexibility as she nails the dance number in a pink skirt amid cheers from others witnessing their performance.

Back in March, the actress celebrated a major milestone in her weight-loss journey when she reached the below 200-pound mark for the first time in over 33 years. The astounding accomplishment was revealed by Mo’Nique in a video where she emotionally updated fans of her progress.

“I said that I would share this journey with y’all, the weight loss and getting healthy. And today when I got on the scale, since I was 17 years old, I’ve been over 200 lbs. Today was the first time in my adult life that I’ve been under 200 lbs. So I wanted to let y’all know it’s possible, we can do it and we can get there.”

The Academy Award winner attributed her dramatic weight-loss to her own hard work and said she never relied on any gimmicks.

“For me it was with no surgery, no pre-packaged foods, not listening to no spokespeople saying ‘it’s easy, you can do it.’ It was just putting in the work and not giving up on me.”
