She also noted lifestyle changes, including the absence of a personal chef, as factors contributing to the shift. "It's me cooking for Clay and me," she added, referring to her son.

The comedian added that the changes have been surprising, "I'm one of those people who always had a weight issue, and now that I'm a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking."

Her latest public appearance has added to ongoing conversations around health, body image, and the growing use of medications like Mounjaro in the entertainment industry.

Speculation around O'Donnell's weight loss began long before her recent red carpet appearance.

In 2023, she addressed the growing curiosity from fans through a candid video update. Responding to a comment about her changing appearance, Rosie O'Donnell explained that her doctor had initiated a new treatment plan.

"Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on — not Ozempic — Mounjaro, something like that… I can't even really pronounce it — and Repatha," she said.

She described the routine, noting that one injection is done every other week and the other once a week. The video provided insight into the beginning of her health transformation and confirmed what many had already begun to notice.
