Kelly Osbourne Opens Up About Her Weight Loss After Ozzy’s Death, Recalls Asking Him for Help at His Grave

Behind the shocking photos was a grieving daughter who could barely care for herself. Now, she's revealing the unexpected encounter she credits with turning her life around.

Kelly Osbourne is opening up about her weight loss journey and how she managed to bounce back. In the months after her father, Ozzy Osbourne, died in 2025, the media personality grew alarmingly thin, sparking widespread concern among fans.

But in a recent interview with The Sun, the former reality star, 41, revealed that she has put on nearly 30 pounds since appearing at the 2026 BRIT Awards in February. "I didn't know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures," she recalled of her stark transformation.

"When I saw them, I couldn't [expletive] believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else. It wasn't an eating disorder. I just couldn't do anything for myself," she explained. "Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up."

Following her father's passing and her split from former fiancé Sid Wilson shortly after, Kelly described the past year as "the worst year" of her life. "In so many ways, I can't even explain to you," she said.

"But it's also been really beautiful because I've learned that my grief is an honor, as I truly love someone that much," she added. At the height of her struggles, Kelly found herself visiting the Black Sabbath frontman's grave to ask him for help.

"I know this sounds woo-woo, but I do candle magic a lot," she shared. "My dad told me he would send me messages. It felt like everything inside me was dead, and I didn't want my son to see me like this."

Kelly shares 3-year-old son Sidney with Sid.

"I went to my dad's grave with a white candle and I wrote a wish on it saying, 'Please help me,'" she continued. "The next day, my mom showed up in a black Mercedes with a man in a mustard-colored jacket."

Initially, Kelly feared her mom, Sharon Osbourne, was sending her to rehab. Much to her relief, the man turned out to be Chris Miller, a therapist and life coach who Kelly believes saved her life and helped her grow in ways she never expected.

Despite speaking openly about her health since her teenage years on the family reality show "The Osbournes," Kelly said she has learned not to expect compassion.

"Most people aren't kind," she admitted. "I was just asking for a little bit of understanding, because there's a lot more to the story than meets the eye."

"I'm not a kid anymore. I'm 42 this month, and I keep getting treated like a 16-year-old, which I find baffling," she noted. "No one knows what people are dealing with in private. I was just sad. I don't wish that pain on anyone ever. And to do that in front of everyone just sucked."

On top of the usual online criticism, Kelly has also faced constant accusations of having had work done on her face and body.

"I've not [expletive] had plastic surgery," she insisted. "The only thing I've had is Botox between my eyebrows so that I don't have 11 lines, and in my jaw because I grind my teeth and it gives me crazy migraines."

"I know a lot of people, including some close to me, who have done it, and you look [expletive] nuts," she went on to joke.

"Like, nobody's eyes are that wide. You can't even [expletive] blink! This is the face that God and my family gave me, and whether you like it or not, that's up to you, but I'm alright with it."
