'19 Kids and Counting' star Anna Duggar posts rare pic of oldest daughter

In recent years, Anna Duggar hasn’t been so active on social media. This was because of scandals that her husband, Josh Duggar found himself in.

This past Saturday, the former reality star posted a picture of her daughter Mackynzie Duggar on Instagram. The post was celebrating the little girl’s summer camp achievement.

Everything that former 19 Kids and Counting star, Anna Duggar, 30, would post on social media always received a backlash. This was because, in 2015, she was involved in two back-to-back scandals.

Firstly, her husband, Josh Duggar was named in a molestation scandal involving his younger sisters when he was 15 years old. A month later, Josh was involved in a cheating scandal where he admitted that he had cheated on his wife.

A police report obtained revealed at the time that Josh had committed seven acts of sexual molestation. His parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar waited almost a year and a half to report the crime.

The heavy backlash forced Anna to retreat from social media. However, on Saturday she posted a picture of her oldest child, Mackynzie Duggar, 8, who was celebrating completing summer sewing camp.

In the image, the little girl was seen holding up her certificate of completion. Instead of attacking her, for once, fans chose to congratulate the little girl.

The couple originally met in 2006 at a Christian homeschooling convention. They got married 2 years later in Florida and have five children.

Their children are daughters Mackynzie, and Meredith, 2; and sons Michael, 7, Marcus, 5, and Mason, whom they welcomed in September last year.
