As reported by Pop Culture, Parker wrote and directed Mama Mia! Here We Go Again and the premiere was attended by cast members Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, and Cher.
Newton and Parker exchanged vows in 1998 and also share a 4-year-old son, Booker. Their daughters are 18-year-old Ripley and 14-year-old Nico.
According to People, Nico is getting ready to appear in her film debut, a Disney production of Dumbo. Newton confirmed that "she's one of the leads."
The film was made in 2016 and will be released next year with actors Danny DeVito, Colin Farrell and Michael Keaton all making appearances.

The entertainment industry can be a dark and daunting place for a teenager and Newton has vowed to be "like a lioness" by Nico's side.
Newton landed her first role in 1991 when she was cast as Thandiwe Adjewa in Flirting, and as Becky Newton in the made-for-TV film Pirate Prince.
She can be seen as Maeve Millay in season one and two of Westworld, an acclaimed show that explores a world in which every human appetite can be indulged without consequence.
Fans can look forward to her upcoming project, The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, in which she portrays the role of Audrey Newhouse. The film is currently in post-production.
She also appeared as Bonnie Soyinka in Gringo and as Val in Solo: A Star Wars Story earlier this year.
