Country star sings moving duet with his uncle who has Down syndrome

Country singer Travis Hatfield shared a heartwarming performance of himself singing alongside his uncle with Down Syndrome, Jamie Joe Cline.

Hatfield took to Facebook to share the special video, in which he hits the country notes with his beloved uncle while also strumming his guitar in a soothing melody.

The singer has graced the country music since for years and has been producing music worthy of topping the country charts.

But during this particular performance, his sole focus was only on spending a quality time with his uncle, whom he revealed as one of the people closest to him.

‘I have a very special person in my life singing with me, his name is Jamie Joe Cline,” Hatfield wrote in the caption to the video he uploaded on Facebook. “He is my 47-year-old uncle who happens to have Down Syndrome.’

The video begins with Hatfield playing one of the most iconic country songs, He Stopped Loving Her Today by George Jones. The signature hit from the country legend was a perfect fit for the duo, with Hatfield leading the song and Cline following.

‘Those who know him, love him,’ the country singer further wrote in the caption. ‘He is a big part in my life and I don’t know what I would do without him. He’s one of the sweetest people I have ever met.’

Hatfield seems to be cherishing every moment he gets to spend with his beloved uncle, and the Facebook video he uploaded further elaborated this fact.

People on the internet have absolutely loved the video with it receiving more than 670,000 views and over 15,000 reactions.

The video has also got the people talking with more than 3,000 people dropping comments on the country icon’s Facebook post.
