As reported by The Sun, Michael's partner said the cause of death wasn't natural, as initially believed. Fadi Fawaz, who dated Michael for seven years, claimed it was suicide.

Fawas found the singer's body in bed during the early morning hours, and The Sun claims to be possessions of an email confirming that Michael tried to take his life five times before.

His partner said that Michael was found unconscious in a bathtub four years ago as well, after taking a muscle-relaxer known as GHB.

An unnamed friend found him and rushed him to the hospital for emergency treatment. Read more on our Twitter, @amomama_usa.

At the time, his representative refused to comment on the type of treatment he received and simply said he was admitted for 'routine tests.'

Michael was buried the Highgate Cemetary in North London, and his estate is estimated to be worth $133 million. Michael had no heirs of his own.

His will was only read a few months after his death due to his accountants trying to reconcile his accounts. Michael left substantial sums to his godchildren.

Authorities confirmed that they would not be investigating Fawas' latest claims and that Michael's case file will remain closed.

According to The Mirror, Michael's family do not support Fawas' version, and a source close to the family told the outlet that the "claims are wrong and impossible to reconcile."

They believed that the coroner conducted a thorough investigation and said there would have been an inquest if his loved had any doubts about the report.
