Beyoncé's mom stops hearts dancing with MC Hammer in new video
Tina Lawson knows how to have fun and her Instagram in the best proof of that. The 64-years-old has some great dance moves and she recently had the opportunity to put them to good use next to one of the best dancers of the ‘80s.
After touring around Europe with her daughter Beyoncé and son in law Jay Z on their “On The Run II” tour, Tina Lawson is back home and ready to keep enjoying the summer in the company of family and friends.
The 64-years-old beauty recently attended the 2018 CEO BBQ, a party organized by businessman and high tech entrepreneur Ben Horowitz and his wife Felicia. The event counted with the presence of some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Sean Combs, Van Jones, Gayle King, Jesse Williams and MC Hammer
The later, famous for his ‘80s hit song “U can’t touch this,” joined Tina on the dance floor of the event while they showed off their best moves. Lawson, who looked stunning wearing a black denim outfit, couldn’t contain her bright smile while dancing and clapping next to Hammer.
She shared a video of the memorable moment on Instagram while sending some lovely words to the singer and his wife, as she wrote:
“It’s Hammer time” I wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to dance with one of the greatest dancers of all times Mr. MC Hammer. Not only one of the greatest entertainers of our time and truly part of our culture, he and his lovely wife Stephanie are the most decent, generous human beings. We are at Ben and Felicia Horowitz’s annual CEO barbecue @feliciahorowitz also @Oscar_oneal”
Just a few weeks ago, Tina was dancing to her daughter’s new son “Apes**t” aboard a boat on the South of France. The mother of two explained that she was in the middle of a dance battle with her six-year-old granddaughter, Blue Ivy, but mentioned she lost to the adorable girl.
“This is my dance-off with Blue !! She beat me of course! We had to make up an original dance move. My awkward shoulder move was my made up dance. I know it’s wrong but my competition is only 6. She killed it though!!! #aboutthatcaftanlife”
Lawson and her family had a great time in Europe, and they even shared a lovely dinner with U2’s main vocalist, Bono, while in Nice, France. Tina shared an epic video from their dinner as everyone sang to Van Morrison’s “Brown-Eyed Girl” as she paned her cellphone camera around the table.
Bono was seating next to Jay-Z, and Beyoncé was beside her husband, even though she tried to hide from her mother’s camera at first, eventually lifting her head at Tina’s insistent flash on her face.
“I am being the Mamarazzi and she is not co- operating,” wrote Lawson referencing her daughter’s lack of enthusiasm for having a camera on her face while having dinner.
We can’t wait for the U.S leg of the “On The Run II” tour to start to see what adventures Mama Tina will share with us.
