Kanye West goes to hospital after friend's wedding

The 41-year-old rapper and father-of-three, Kanye West, battled flu symptoms over the weekend and went to the hospital on Sunday.

As reported by ET Online, West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, was spotted on Saturday at rapper Pusha T and Virginia Williams wedding.

Kim wore a gold Balmain minidress and a phone-shaped clutch bag while Kanye looked dashing in a black tuxedo. Read more on our Twitter, @amomama_usa.

The ceremony was held at the Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach and other a-lister wedding guests included Pharrell Williams and Trey Songz.

Kim took him to the hospital the following day after his flu symptoms got worse. Kanye didn't stay overnight and simply picked up antibiotics from his doctor.

He is currently recovering at home. ET Online enquired about his health but are still waiting to hear from his spokesperson.

Kanye's last studio album, Ye, was released on June 1 and features seven tracks, including I Thought About Killing You, Yikes and No Mistakes.

The album reached the number one spot in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and peaked on the US Billboard 200 and the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Billboard too.

Before that, he worked on Pusha T's Daytona album, which was released in May. The album attracted some controversy over the cover - a photo of the deceased Witney Houston's bathroom.

Kanye has also been making headlines for his controversial support of the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

He began his career in the mid-nineties by producing beats for local artists, and his first client was for Chigaco rapper named Grav.

Kanye rose to fame in 2002 weeks after a car crash that left him with a shattered jaw inspired him to record Through The Wire. The album was released in December that same year.
