Beloved 'Duck Dynasty' star expecting first child

Rebecca Robertson Loflin and her husband, John Reed Loflin, are expecting their first child together. The former Duck Dynasty star is almost 15 weeks pregnant.

According to Us Weekly, the first person she shared the news with was her sister, Bella. She told her husband the exciting news in a very creative way.

Willie, 46, and Korie Robertson, 44, will be getting a new grandchild next year. Rebecca Robertson Loflin, 29, came to live with them as an exchange student from Taiwan when she was 16.

Even though they have not legally adopted her, they consider her one of their children. “I’m almost 15 weeks now,” Rebecca revealed about her pregnancy.

The first person she shared her pregnancy news with was her sister Bella, 15. “I wanted to tell him on his birthday,” she explained and posted a video of the surprise on Instagram.

“I think John Reed is thinking like, he wants to show his boy how to play drums and go hunt and you know,” she said. “But of course girls can do all of that too.”

The siblings then devised the perfect way to surprise John Reed Loflin. “I bought a little baby denim jacket cause me and my husband both love denim jackets and we always wear matching stuff,” she revealed.

However, when Rebecca gave John the jacket, he thought it was for their French bulldog. It wasn’t until he saw the pregnancy test that he realized what was happening.

He was shocked and started crying while his wife laughed at him. Rebecca’s parents were also surprised by the news with her mother crying with joy.

Rebecca and John, who married in December 2016, will learn the sex of their baby on July 30. Both are praying for a healthy child, but Rebecca suspects John wants a son.

Willie and Korie live across the street from the Loflin’s in case they need help with the baby. Rebecca and John have been living in West Monroe, Louisiana, while their new home is being renovated.

Rebecca jokingly revealed that her mother doesn’t want them to move. Duck Dynasty aired from 2012 to 2017 and focused on the Robertson family and their duck calling business.
