Robin Roberts shares a new photo of her long-time girlfriend Amber Laign while in Arizona.

It was in 2014 when Robin Roberts first opened up about her girlfriend Amber Laign when she showed them a photo smiling at a family wedding. Now, she has been more open about their relationship, posting photos of the two of them sharing different activities together such as doing yoga in an Arizonian desert.

According to Daily Mail UK, the morning show anchor, who battled cancer in 2012, shared that her relationship has brought her tremendous strength during such a trying moment.

"I have never been happier or healthier than I am right now."

At the time, Roberts gushed about her adventures with the love-of-her-life, such as going on vacation in Turks and Caicos and attending the wedding of her niece in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

''My year in post was just full of gratitude and telling everyone all that I'm grateful for, including my girlfriend Amber who really loved me through a very difficult year and I'm very happy for the support.'"

The fact that Amber stayed by Robin's side through it all just proved the purity of her love, which has made it easy for them to stay strong and steadfast in their love through the years.

Daily Mail was also able to obtain information from Amber's family, who are happy and supportive of the couple's relationship. Amber's parents, Andrea and Paul, had previously met Robin and have given their blessing for their daughter to continue her relationship with the morning show host.

Being together since the early 2000's, Amber and Robin kept their relationship out of the spotlight, until ten years later when they decided to reveal it to the world.
