Hello: This is proof that Prince Harry has close ties to the Spencer-side of his family

Prince Harry has always been likened to his late mother's side of the family, the Spencers, because of his red hair.

According to Hello!, the Duke of Sussex, 33, is believed to have inherited his red hair to Princess Diana's side of the family.

The comparison can quickly be made with his mother's older sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, who also dated Prince Charles before he courted Diana.

However, other royal fans also noticed that Harry bears a strong resemblance to Prince Philip, 97, his father's side of the family.

Images of a young Philip reveal a striking similarity between the two. They both bear the same piercing clear eyes, strong brow, slender nose and thin lips.

Harry, who tied the knot with Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018, began showing a likeness to Philip from a very young age.

When he was a teenager, he shared the same mannerisms and expressions with the Duke of Edinburgh.

Like Philip, Harry also spent many years of his life devoted to the army.

Harry served in the armed forces for a decade and was deployed to Afghanistan twice, while Queen Elizabeth's husband boasted an impressive military career in his time.

Philip was one of the youngest first lieutenants in the Royal Navy at 21 years old. He also went on to serve during World War II.

A far cry from his normally clean-shaven look, Philip grew a full beard while out at sea. On the other hand, Harry has been wearing a beard since 2013. Her Majesty reportedly told him to shave it off.

A source said at the time: "She doesn't mind royal men growing beards when they are away in the armed forces or out in the wilds like Harry was in the Antarctic, but she expects them to be clean-shaven when they get home."

Though Cressida Bonas, his girlfriend at the time, reportedly liking the look, Harry shaved off his beard in the New Year.

However, in June 2015, Harry went back to growing a beard and has kept one ever since after he left the army.

And while Harry and Philip appear to have the same nose, other people said that Harry has taken after Diana's younger brother, Charles, who also sports a very similar slender nose.
