Duchess Meghan quit her job as an actress when she married Prince Harry. She also left the US to live in the UK to be with her new husband.

Now, her mother Doria Ragland is rumored to be leaving the US to be closer to her daughter. At the beginning of the year, the Duchess’ mother quit her job in preparation for the move reported Express.

Doria Ragland, 61, was the only member of Meghan’s family who was at her wedding. Her mother might be living closer to her sooner than we think.

Ragland is said to be “beside herself with excitement” at becoming neighbors with Prince Harry and daughter Meghan. A friend said Ragland could be moving as soon as next month.

For more on this story go to our Twitter account @amomama_usa. This would be just in time for her to celebrate her 62nd birthday in Britain.

The Duchess’ mother was said to have been deeply impressed by the Royal Family as a whole during and after her daughter’s wedding. Ragland is the only family member of the Duchess who hasn’t said anything about her to the media.

Thomas Markle, Meghan’s father and other relatives have gotten paid for a series of tell-all interviews. Ragland started to prepare for her move earlier this year.

In May, she quit her job as a social worker for the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services clinic in Culver City, Los Angeles. A close friend in Los Angeles said, “She is getting ready to move to London. I think she will be going as soon as possible. I know that she was eager to live closer to her daughter.”

The friend shared that Ragland hasn’t been staying at her house for a while. She said to only visit her home occasionally and usually she’d have a security guard with her.

The guard was said to have been with her since about November. “She is fiercely loyal to Meghan and would never betray her like the rest of them. They are so close,” the friend added.

The Duchess’ mother also fell in love with England and told the friend when she got back that it was somewhere she believed she would be happy to live. “Even before the wedding she told me how she misses her Megs so much she would do anything to be closer to her, especially now Meghan will be starting a family of her own,” the source said.

Another neighbor in the Los Angeles area of Windsor Hills added: “Doria and Meghan have always been inseparable. Doria is beside herself with excitement at the thought of moving to London.”
