Joanna Gaines posted a new photo of her baby while pulling an all-nighter

The former HGTV star had to spend the night up with her two-month-old, and she shared the relatable moment with her fans and followers on social media, but it was Gaines’s nursery what stole the attention.

40-year-old home improvement expert and entrepreneur Joanna Gaines took to her Instagram account on August 5 to post a picture from her latest baby Crew’s nursery after an entire night taking care of the newborn, and fans loved it.

2018 has been a year of many milestones for the reality TV star, who turned 40 recently, welcomed a fifth child eight years after her previous pregnancy, and left the TV show that turned her and her husband Chip into stars.

But Joanna seems to have an endless source of energy and high spirits, and she keeps inspiring people around her to go after what they dream, with her example that a balance between starting a family and having business ambitions is possible.

“Evidence of a late night up with my boy,” she captioned the image she posted, which shows the tastefully put together nursery room she designed for her most recent baby, who can be partially seen lying on his crib, with his face out of frame.

Wipes, baby products, several towels and a diaper are visible next to Crew, suggesting that the little boy might have had stomach problems during that night. The #blowouts hashtag she added to the post also seems to indicate this.

Defying those who may think she is too old to start raising a child from start, Joanna added #thisis40 to the photo caption.

She also tagged several items present in the snapshot to let everybody know where did she get them, in case people want to find them, aware, as she is, of being a huge influence when it comes to housekeeping.

The reactions

Despite her intention when sharing the picture seem to have been to admit that parenting comes with a little chaos and sacrifice, especially in the early moments, her fans kept praising her for how great the nursery looks.

“Why does your mess still look pretty?” wrote @alternateendingpod. “That is a beautiful rocking bassinet in that room is gorgeous I can see Joanna and chip touches all over that place,” added @kendallchappelle.

Others decided to praise Joanna and showing her their support for the good work she is doing with her fifth child, and they thank her for sharing the not so glamorous side of taking care of a newborn.

Soon after the Gaines’s home-improvement reality TV series came to its final episode, Chip and Joanna revealed the surprising news that eight years since she had last given birth the mother-of-four was expecting once again.

Even though it was something they were definitively not planning, the celebrity couple was delighted with the news and was looking forward to welcoming the newest member of the family.

Knowing that their favorite TV personalities were no longer going to be appearing on the screen on Fixer Upper, their numerous fans were eager to know more about them in social media, and the news of a new baby coming fuelled their interest.

While Joanna and Chip were careful not to put their children in the spotlight too much during the years they were followed by a TV crew as they worked their magic on properties, they are very active in social media about their little ones.

The Gaines’s were parents of Drake, 13; Ella, 11; Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 8, by the time they found out that Joanna was pregnant once again, but they were sure that they were ready to assume the task of raising a fifth child.

On June 23, Chip took to Twitter to announce that baby Crew, whose name he hinted but didn’t share in the post, had finally being born.

“The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!” wrote the proud father and husband.
