Kandi Burruss looks amazing in recent video with her 'glam squad'
Kandi Burruss reveals the process of her transformation as she gets ready for an event. She posts a video featuring her "squad" of stylists who work together to achieve her stunning look.
Kandi Burruss recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at how she gets glammed up for an event and the final result impressed them.
In a video montage the television personality shared, she’s surrounded by a group of people she referred to as her “glam squad” in her caption as they worked to achieve her polished look.
Her squad included a nail specialist, a makeup artist and a hair expert who did wonders to the 42-year-old who was getting ready to attend a prestigious event.
"Finally made it home after a long day!," Kandi began in her caption and further explained the video.
"Here’s a clip from the morning. The glam squad was at the studio ready to go at 7am. Poor @sewjodie only slept 2 hours last night. The bad part is that our day starts at 6am tomorrow...#GlamDay@hauseofglam @sewjodie @latashawright@imnails love y’all! @davidoofficial"
Fans delighted in the finished product where Kandi looked divine in a black gown with a deep V neckline showcasing her cleavage. One sleeve deliberately fell off her shoulder which is also highlighted by a spaghetti strap. Her smoky make-up rendered a dramatic finish that complemented her hair which was neatly tied in an elegant high ponytail.
Her Instagram followers agreed she looked amazing after her transformation. One fan even commented that she “ages like fine wine.”
Kandi is set to go a concert tour with her Xscape bandmates as part of their participation in ‘The So So Def 25thAnniversary Cultural Curren$y Tour.’ Ahead of the 10-stop tour, Kandi sat down with Atlanta Streetz 94.5 to explain the confusion surrounding her all-girl band.
The singer explained that Xscape is originally a four-member group which comprises herself, Tiny Harris, LaTocha Scott and Tamika Scott. However, on some occasions, Kandi isn’t able to join them in which case they’re labeled Xscape3.
Kandi confirmed to Andy Cohen on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ last year that she wasn’t going to be making new with her bandmates due to her commitment with Broadway in her debut as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago. Thus, she was not part of the single ‘Here For It’ and Xscape3’s album which was released in March.
