Woman captures incredible moment as whale leaves the water

A mother was able to capture the unforgettable moment an enormous whale jumped from water.

On June 9, 2018, a family went on vacation in Port Macquarie, Australia, according to ViralHog.

"My family and I went on a whale watching adventure whilst on a holiday at Port Macquarie, we saw a whale breach in the distance and I just knew I wanted one video, however, did not anticipate getting the magical shot I got [sic]," the mother explained.

The passengers boarded a small boat and headed out into the ocean with a tour guide. Though not all tourists get a chance to spot these creatures, this family was about to be treated to a surprise they would never forget.

While the mother was recording the calm water, she suddenly noticed a whale breach. Seconds later, the entire boat rocked, and the family was in complete shock as a big whale leaped into the air from the water.

In the video, the whale can be seen giving them all a great splash. The passengers at the front of the boat got soaked from the massive splash it made as it hit the water after breaching.

The clip is really amazing as you can see the whale up close and personal. Since the video was shared, it has been viewed more than 287,000 times.
