Rihanna stuns in blue bridesmaid dress at childhood friend's wedding

Rihanna headed home to Barbados over the weekend to attend her best friend's wedding. Dr. Sonita Alexander chose the singer to be one of her bridesmaids, and she did not disappoint as she actively took part in making sure everything went well for the beautiful bride.

The 30-year-old songstress managed to steal the show yet again, donning a blue bridesmaid dress with a plunging neckline and ruffled sleeves. The wedding, which was a small outdoor ceremony, was filled with the bride and groom's closest family and friends.

As for how Rihanna and Sonita are acquainted with one another, they have actually been best friends since they were kids. Growing up together in Barbados, they never lost touch with one another and have stayed close even after going their separate ways.

This isn't the first time that Riri has served as a bridesmaid for one of her friends, as she previously flew to Hawaii in April 2015 to attend her assistant Jennifer Rosales' wedding. Dressed in a purple Badgley Mischka Couture V-neck tulle gown, she was a sight to see in the memorable beach wedding.

It's not just in weddings that Rihanna steals the show of course, as being the center of attention has been her forte since entering the entertainment industry. This marks Edwin's first September issue since stepping into the role of EIC last year, and they picked British fashion photographer Nick Knight to capture Riri's beautiful photos.
