Singer and rapper Cardi B, who was a regular cast member of "Love & Hip Hop: New York" from 2015 to 2017, went to the VMA Awards wearing a beautiful purple dress.

The photos shared by The Shade Room’s Instagram account portray the singer in a tight purple gown that had a very interesting design as one of its sleeves was long while the other one was short.

Apart from that, one of the lower sides ended just under her hip while the other one was considerably longer as it ended by her ankle. She paired her number with a pair of purple high heels and several emerald green accessories.

While the gown attracted a lot of attention, her deep V-cut neckline that showed Cardi B’s décolletage was the most striking aspect of her outfit.

It was also one of the first times that Cardi B went public with her new short black hairdo, and it looks gorgeous on her. As Bet reported, the 25-year-old star wore a Nicolas Jebran dress with custom shoes by Alexander Costa and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

As soon as The Shade Room uploaded that photo, fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user Duke Cage, who pointed out that Cardi B, like several women in Hollywood, looked better than they used to only two months after having a baby.

CARDI B’S BABY GIRL

On July 10, the singer and her husband, rapper Offset, welcomed Kulture Kiari Cephus to the world. During the VMAs, she surprised everybody when going onstage with what appeared to be a baby wrapped in a pink blanket, reported Harper’s Bazaar.

However, she uncovered the “baby” and revealed that it was a VMA moon man trophy, proving that she is not only a great singer but also a comedian.

At the moment, she is recovering from childbirth and is spending as much time with Kulture as possible. Her next presentation is expected to be at the Global Citizens Festival in New York City on September 29.
