A video shared on YouTube showed the two-time European Bronze medalists, perform to the famous New Year's tune, “Auld Lang Syne” and wowed the crowds at the championships in 2008.

The brother-sister duo from Scotland represented Great Britain at the championships and the Winter Olympics before they retired in the year 2011.

In the world of skating, the siblings were known for surprising the audiences with their distinctive and fresh ideas and for pushing boundaries.

One of their most memorable skating performances was in 2018 at the World Figure Skating Championships for which the pair had donned the traditional Scottish kilts.

Sinead wore a bright red top which contrasted well against the white ice, and both the skaters' kilts were striking and an unusual choice for an ice dancing costume, according to Inner Strength.

The Scottish music chosen for their performance went right along with the costumes. The whole idea did not seem regular, and there was also nothing ordinary about the performance.

Arguably, the fascinating part of the routine is when Sinead is turned upside down and hangs onto her brother, John. While Sinead holds onto John's leg with one hand, John doesn't use his hands at all.

While the dance routine may have surely looked challenging and very difficult to the audience, the Kerrs said it felt natural for them as they had grown up in Scotland, according to Liftable.

“You don’t have to work so hard on the dances if Scottish is in your heart. The dances aren’t something you go to learn.”

The siblings impressed not only the judges and the audience present at the time of the performance but also the viewers around the world. Their performance created quite a stir on the internet as well.

Another pair of figure skates, Vanessa James and Morgan Cipres, awed the audience with their magnificent performance inspired by the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

The French athletes performed for the song “Earned It by The Weekend” at the ISU European Championships 2017 in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

James and Cipres got rid of their nerves and gave their all to perform their routine, especially when the hosts had mentioned that the previous performance was a tough one to follow up.

The skaters dazzled audiences on the ice, executing perfect lifts, throws and other moves. They also included a bit of a sensual element to their performance and did not just stick to tried and tested steps.

The pair won the bronze medal for their performance at the competition, while Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov of Russia won gold and Aliona Savchenko and Bruno Massot of Germany won the silver medals.

Another young figure skater is going viral on the internet. Riana Kadyrova, who was only three years old when she presented an impressive ice skating routine, has some big skating dreams.

Kadyrova had started ice skating when she was just two years old, and she had performed the adorable routine posted on YouTube by Ruptly in the year 2013 when she was only three.

The routine gave hints of what an exceptional skater she was going to be when she grew up.

Kadyrova is wearing a maroon dress with gold detailing and long white sleeves, and her hair was tied up in a braid. She began to move as soon as the music started and executed some pretty tricky moves for a three-year-old, including a few spirals.

Kadyrova has been trained by her mother, who has been figure skating all her life.
