Charismatic country star Reba McEntire will once again be hosting the CMA Country Christmas event, and she happily announced her return on Instagram.

This will be the CMA's ninth annual Christmas event and it will be McEntire's third time on the show.

The CMA Country Christmas show is a two-hour special celebrating the holiday season and features country music stars - but not only - performing Christmas classics, and their own songs.

“I’m so excited CMA invited me back to host their show and am looking forward to fun singing carols with my friends.”

This year's event promises to be the best one ever with a dazzling list of luminary guest performers.

The stellar line up will include the legendary Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Lindsey Stirling, The Isaacs and Brett Young.

Eldredge and Dan + Shay are regulars on the special, but some of the performers, like Young and Old Dominion, are first-timers.

The event will also be held at a new venue. Traditionally the CMA Country Christmas was held at the mythical Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, but this year's event will be taped at Belmont University's Curb Event Center.

It will also be recorded earlier, in September rather than in November, and fans are encouraged to acquire their tickets as soon as possible before they run out.

McEntire will also be performing and has a new album appropriately called "My Kind of Christmas", which was released last year.

McEntire is considered one of country music's most influential female vocalists and has been one of the most popular female artists for nearly 40 years.
