Pilot crashes aircraft onto road and flips after attempted landing
On August 25, Northeimsund, Norway had an event called Wings and Wheels, Cars and Planes.
The event features helicopters, small planes, micro-planes with sightseeing tours, and boat trips on the creek.
All seemed to be going well as a light aircraft was seen coming down for a landing. Things, however, quickly turned sour for the pilot.
Video footage caught the moment a 61-year-old pilot in Norway tried to bring his small plane down for a landing. The aircraft could be seen approaching the road from across a lake.

All seems well as it descends, but just as the plane reaches the edge of the road, it appears to hit the ground too hard.
It landed with its right wheel twisted to the side and momentarily balanced on its wing.
It then falls forward and twists on its nose before coming to a halt with its back end in the air. A smooth landing ultimately becomes a crash landing for the pilot.
The plane literally looks as if it tripped. A cyclist is then seen cautiously passing by the plane, just a few yards from the crash site.

The pilot was reportedly in the plane when it crashed, but luckily he left the crash site unharmed with only minor injuries. The reason for the aircraft's sudden nose dive is still unknown.
However, it is believed that the light aircraft was attempting to land on the lakeside road.
