When English intervened, the bullies turned their focus on him instead, and they did not stop attacking him until he was severely injured.

According to English, they beat him up with sticks, threw rocks at him, and injured his eyes by rubbing saw dust on them.

After the attack, the little boy's face was covered with bruises and gashes, his arm was broken, and he was in urgent need of eye surgery.

The victim's mother also spoke to ABC7 and said that she was disturbed and upset about the ordeal her son was put through.

“It’s been hell. I haven’t slept. I haven’t eaten. I can’t do anything. I can’t even leave his side,” she said.

Speaking to KOMO News, she shared that she found her son sitting on the front steps of their home when she came home from work during her lunch break to check up on him.

According to the Olympia police, they were investigating the incident and had the identity of the five-year-old who allegedly started the issue. The authorities also added that they had plans to contact social services.

English, who had his arm in a sling, said that he was in fear of being attacked by the same children again.

A 30-year-old nurse and mother of two children became a victim of bullying when she committed suicide by hanging herself. She had become a constant target at the hands of her colleagues at her workplace.

Rhian Collins was supposedly sworn at and traumatized by her co-workers at the mental health center where she was employed, the Daily Mail reported.

The news outlet also shared that Collins was assigned night shifts continuously.

Due to the incessant harassment that Collins faced, she became “obsessed with her appearance, and she would go to the gym four times a day,” Investigating Officer Sargent Nia Lambley said.

Collins' fiancé, David Reed, had contacted the police when he received no response from Collins when he knocked on her door and called her. Collins' death was confirmed to be intentional suicide by the coroner's office.
