Serena Williams' daughter rocks tutu dress that looks like her mom's on-court outfit at US Open
Olympia Ohanian knows how to roll in style, just like her mama! The adorable tot was spotted rocking a lovely Tutu dress that looked very much like the ones Serena has been wearing for the U.S Open.
Balancing Olympia on her hip, Serena made her way to the U.S Open yesterday. The Nike brand ambassador made sure to represent with black knee-length leggings and a purple top. She rocked the athletic wear with a Nike visor, gold necklace, a red hand-band, and white tennis shoes.
Serena held little Olympia in one hand, along with her phone and a juice bottle. Olympia wore a tutu-patterned rainbow dress paired with white socks and the cutest black shoes.
Her outfit tends to remind you of her mother’s fashion choices at the U.S. Open so far.
The tennis champion made news when she played the first match of the tournament on Monday in a one-shoulder tutu outfit.
It was her first on-court appearance since the French Open ban on her famous Wakanda-inspired catsuit, and fans were all for it.
The tutu was regarded as a bold response from the mother-of-one who had earlier explained that she chose the Wakanda catsuit for health reasons following childbirth complications. The two-toned tutu was designed by Virgil Abloh in collaboration with Nike.
Abloh said of his creation:
“With Serena, we have one of our generation's most powerful, inspiring athletes as the muse. I was trying to embody her spirit and bring something compelling and fresh to tennis.”
Serena went on to dish a second serving of the tutu trend for her Wednesday victory against Germany’s Carina Witthoeft.
She rocked another dress from the “Queen” collection, a one-sleeved lavender-and-brown masterpiece. She also sported a matching headband and white tennis shoes.
The 36-year-old athlete is billed to play against her sister, Venus Williams, today and we can’t wait to see what style she brings to the court!
