3-year-old girl coaches her dad through morning hair duty in adorable video
Linda Culpepper, the three-year-old girl in the 2015 video, did her best to encourage her father, Derrick, while he was styling her hair for school.
In the recording that the proud father uploaded to his YouTube channel, he appeared wearing black pants and a dark blue shirt in what seemed to be his work outfit. He was styling Linda’s hair in the bathroom of the family’s home.
Derrick asked the girl how he was doing it, and his proud daughter, who apparently didn’t know her father was recording everything, said “good!”
Later, the man reached for some grease and Linda, as a way to guide him, said that after applying the grease, he had to brush her hair and finally tie it up with a band.
A couple of seconds after that, Linda evaluated Derrick’s job and said: “it’s almost done! You’re doing a good job!” The proud father could do nothing but thank his daughter for such wonderful and encouraging words.

LINDA'S APPROVAL
The clip showed the entire process of Derrick getting Linda’s hair done, as well as the girl guiding him. By the end of the video, the proud man asked about her thoughts on her hair, and Linda just opened her arms and smiled in approval.

Nowadays, the video has more than 1 million views in Derrick’s channel, and it has served as an inspiration to several fathers and families throughout the world.
A HELPFUL GIRL
Derrick later revealed that Linda does the same when her mother is styling her hair, as well, proving that the girl has a helpful personality no matter who is doing her hair.
"In this house we are real. We give hugs, we love, we have fun, and we give second chances. This is just how we live and how we raise our kids to be encouraging to one another," finished Derrick.
