Teenage girl has best response after rude customer fat-shames her in bakery

Vega Blossom from Valparaiso decided to get back at two women who fat-shamed her during a queue at a local bakery.

Blossom took to Facebook to share her experience and revealed that she was forced to spend around $54 on cupcakes just to teach her fat-shamers a lesson.

She wrote in her post that she went shopping at the bakery because they were having a sale on everything before the store closed for that night.

However, her excitement soon soured when she overheard two women standing in the queue in the bakery talk about her weight.

‘Tonight, I was really petty,’ Vega wrote in her Facebook post. ‘There was a lady in front of me getting a cake and a lady behind me with her friend as I was waiting in line.’

Blossom then overheard one of the women say to the another, “Let’s hope this fat [expletive] doesn’t buy all the cupcakes.”

When she heard the comments, she was shocked and horrified beyond belief. She admitted that she ‘wanted to cry’ when she overhead such demeaning remarks on herself. However, she gathered herself and, rather than feel sad, decided to teach the women a lesson.

Now she was only planning to buy six cupcakes initially. However, since the women made a crude remark on her, she decided to make their wishes come true.

In her Facebook post, Blossom wrote, ‘I bought every damn cupcake. I spent $54 on cupcakes just to be a [expletive]. Happy Easter.’

When it was her turn at the counter, Blossom swallowed her hurt and bought almost all of the cupcakes at the bakery. She bought 20 mega-sized cakes and even made the two women open the door for her as she exited the bakery.

Being bullied and shamed for one’s weight is sadly a common issue that many people face every day of their lives. However, there are some people who come up with different ways of fighting back this trend.

Just like Blossom, a father of an overweight taught his daughter a special lesson after discovering that she was being harassed for her weight in her school.
