The day he left for Puerto Rico, his family said a loving goodbye. "We told him, 'Goodbye, take care, see you soon, we're going to miss you.' We never imagined that would be the last time we saw him," Hector continued.

Ongoing Investigation

With no arrests made so far, the family is appealing to anyone with information about the shooting to cooperate with Puerto Rican authorities. They have also created a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of transporting his body back to New York and his funeral.

Kevin will be remembered as a joyful young man, passionate about life, devoted to animals, deeply connected to his family, and full of dreams for the future. But the concert he had longed for ended in tragedy, one his loved ones must now carry for the rest of their lives.
