The footage was recorded by Morgan Evick, a guest at a Jamaican hotel and shared via Twitter. His tweet had a great impact and exceeded 80 thousand retweets in a few hours.

In the just 9-second-long, after the man hits the water he remains seated on the surface of the water, sliding in a surprising way. When he reaches the edge of the pool he uses his impulse to get up and walks away like is not a big deal.

According to Fox, the man in the video is named Rolando Johnson, and he was a 21-year-old lifeguard at a water park in Jamaica by the time the video went viral in June 2017.

Johnson confirmed that it is a trick and assured that it is something that a number of the lifeguards at Pirates Island Waterpark have learned to do. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

Johnson said to have been trying to do the trick for almost two years, and it was just a coincidence that he was caught on camera as he accomplished it.

However, this is not just a trick for expert lifeguards. Although it is easier to get to practice it when your work keeps you close to the water at all times, Johnson said it is something that anyone can learn to do.

The lifeguards at the water park have been teaching visitors the technique for some time, and Johnson even shared his “secret” technique with TMZ.

As the news outlet put it, all you have to do to achieve this amazing stunt would be: “1. - Get a big push at the top of the slide for maximum speed. 2. - Cross your legs and sit up right before shooting out of the tube.”

The original tweet from Morgan Evick was posted on June 4, 2017, and as of September 2018, it has been retweeted almost 82.000 times and liked more than 149.000 times.

But you don’t need to perfect an impressive skill like Johnson did in order to become internet famous, as a video of a little boy who jumps in a pool and hits the water belly first proves it.

The mother of the cute child who tries to imitate her and his older brother to enter the home pool uploaded the clip to her Facebook account without imagining it was going to get such a big reaction and attention from the world.
