Meet the 'mutant' goat that left a village baffled and terrified

After being born, a mutant goat with a human face terrified a whole village.

In August 2017, a video of the bizarre goat which was born in India went viral after it was posted on social media.

The strange creature has left the locals bewildered because its facial structure, nose, and lips make it look more similar to a human.

The color of the goat is dark brown and does not seem to have any hair.

Since the video was shared by Samiraa Aissa on Facebook, it has been viewed more than 65 million times.

As translated by Asia One, Aissa wrote: "A strange creature has been discovered in India. The animal, whose shape resembles that of a human being, terrified a whole village."

In the clip, the goat can be seen being pulled around by two people as it continuously stuck its tongue out.

The uploader, however, didn't reveal where the goat lives in India.

A lot of netizens placed their thoughts via comments.

Tay Stephen said that maybe the poor animal was "a product of human sex with (an) animal."

However, Maggie Williams responded that "nature does not allow an egg and sperm of completely different species to procreate unless someone has mixed an egg and sperm from (a) human/animal in a petri dish in a lab then taken the fertilized egg and placed it inside the (animal's) womb."

"Even then there (would) be a (spontaneous) abortion within a short period of time. Sure there are mentally deranged humans who will rape an animal - and that is what it is - but the sperm and egg are simply incompatible."

Williams continued: "If I were one of the villagers I would be more concerned not by the physical appearance of this baby goat but by possible (contamination) of food and water for its mother."
