Will Smith's son Trey melts hearts sharing photos with his 'Bonus Mother' on her birthday

Jada Pinkett Smith just celebrated her 47th birthday, and among all the lovely birthday messages she got, the one from her stepson Trey Smith melted hearts all over social media.

Trey Smith, the eldest son of Will Smith and ex-wife Sheree Fletcher, has always been open about the immense love and affection he has for his “bonus mom,” and about how proud he is to have two fantastic maternal figures in his life.

The 25-year-old handsome man took to Instagram on September 18 to send a heartwarming birthday message to Pinkett Smith, and he posted it alongside two sweet pictures of them.

The first one depicts the pair posing cheek to cheek, with Jada rocking a black & white striped t-shirt and a tight bun, and Trey donning a simple black t-shirt. The second pic is a collage of several photos of the pair through the years.

Trey captioned the post:

“I Love You Beyond Life. My Gorgeous Bonus Mother has Held it Down for Me Forever. How much it means to have you in my life is unfathomable HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! @jadapinkettsmith.”

Fans immediately took over Trey’s comment section to extend their congratulations to Jada and express their admiration for the beautiful relationship the pair has. One fan wrote:

“And that's what makes a step mother MOM. When she sees no blood just pure love. And he sees no blood just pure love,”

And another added:

“Nice. You're the best kind of bonus son @treysmith0011 You don't assume she knows, you tell her how valuable she is to you. That's priceless and smart. Bless you!”

A BLENDED AND BLESSED FAMILY

And just like Trey doesn’t let Jada assume he loves her, she does the same for him.

The actress recently had an open and public discussion with Trey’s mother on her Facebook Watch show “Red Table Talk,” where she apologized for not backing off on her relationship with Will while he and Sheree were still going through the divorce process.

However, instead of getting into the drama, Sheree took the chance to thank Jada for loving “her baby,” confessing that one of the hardest moment in their entire relationship was when little Trey went home one day telling her mom he liked Miss Jada a lot.

Pinkett Smith touched on the subject of blended families in a Facebook she made back in 2013, where she wrote:

“When I married Will, I knew Trey was part of the package...Period! If I didn't want that...I needed to marry someone else. Then I learned if I am going to love Trey...I had to learn to love the most important person in the world to him...his mother. And the two of us may not have always LIKED each other... but we have learned to LOVE each other.”

These days, Jada has a beautiful relationship not only with Trey, but also with Sheree, and it goes both ways, as Willow and Jaden also love Fletcher and love to spend time with their older brother.
