Meghan Markle stuns everyone wearing an eye-catching coat at cookbook launch
On Thursday, Duchess Meghan celebrated the launch of a cookbook she’s a big part of at Kensington Palace. It was the first event hosted by the new Royal.
Meghan was dressed for the occasion in a blue coat. She was accompanied and supported by her mother and her husband.
The Duchess of Sussex arrived with her husband, Prince Harry, and her mother Doria Ragland for her first solo event as a Royal on Thursday. Meghan wore a royal blue coat by Canadian designers Smythe, which is the first Royal coat of the fall season.
She completed her stunning look with a Misha Nonoo skirt, black Tuxe turtleneck top, and heels. Footage from the event showed her stepping out of the car while the wind blew on her skirt.

The book, which Meghan gave the foreword in, is called “Together: Our Community Cookbook.” The aim of the book is to raise money for the kitchen so that it can operate full-time.

Her mother had flown in recently from Los Angeles and was at the event to support her. This was Ragland’s first official appearance after she was rumored to be flying to London this week to visit her daughter.

The cookbook is set for release next week but it can be pre-ordered here. Meghan's emotional three-page passage foreword described her own work in the community kitchen and the impact the women had on their community.
Its so lovely to see Megan take the lead and that Prince Happy seems more than happy for it to happen! Proud Mum & Husband for sure.

Part of it reads:
"Together is more than a cookbook. This is a tale of friendship, and a story of togetherness. It is a homage to the power of cooking as a community, and the recipes that allow us to connect, share and look forward."
I love that her Mom is with her...and that Prince Harry is "taking a step back" to allow everyone to focus on her.

The book includes 50 recipes from the survivors. Meghan has made a number of secret visits to the women’s community kitchen since meeting them.
