Michelle Obama just announced unexpected news about her future

Former First Lady Michelle Obama recently announced that she would have a tour to promote her new memoir, “Becoming.”

Obama took to Instagram to share the exciting news through a video accompanied by a lengthy caption.

The 54-year-old wife of former President Barack Obama expressed her excitement over her newest venture.

The book had reportedly been highly-anticipated by the public as it tackles more intimate details about her.

In the video, Obama revealed that the book would be released on November 13, 2018.

At the time, she had just finished her book, and she exclaimed that she “can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Obama shared that the contents of the book are based on her experiences and other things that have shaped her as a person today.

“I’m proud because it’s candid, it’s totally and utterly me. So I’m also a little frightened because it’s candid and honest and open, but I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

As for her tour, Obama, who is a lawyer, will first visit her hometown in Chicago on the same day the book becomes available to the public.

Ending her tour on December 17, 2018, Obama is expected to make appearances in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Detroit, Denver, San Jose, and Dallas.

In a press release, Obama said, “I hope that this tour will inspire others to reflect upon and share their own stories — all the joys and sorrows, all the scars and renewals — so that together, we can better recognize that each of us, in our own way, is in a constant process of becoming.”

The mother-of-two previously shared details about “Becoming” in a tweet in February. At the time, she expressed how she couldn’t wait to tell everyone her story.

Since becoming a public figure, the people tend to notice almost everything about Obama.
