North West steals the spotlight slaying on her runway debut in pictures

5-year-old North West makes her mother Kim Kardashian proud as she rocks a "thriller" look during her first runway show.

She’s shown interest in fashion and makeup so it’s no surprise that Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West slays her first attempt at the runway. The 5-year-old was a show stopper and her mother couldn’t be prouder.

North was one of the celebrity kids who graced the runway of the “L.O.L. Surprise Fashion Show” held at the Palisades Park in California this weekend. She was joined by Busy Philipp’s daughter Birdie, and Sara Foster’s daughter, Valentina.

Each of them wore clothes representing their favorite L.O.L. Surprise character and North opted to fashion Thrilla’s outfit, a nod to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” look.

Her choice paid off as she rocked her red leather jacket-and-skirt ensemble with a black cropped top beneath. She complemented her edgy look with a pair of studded sunglasses and an ornate black bag. She capped her look with Michael’s signature black loafers and white socks while keeping her hair neatly stacked in curls on top of her head.

Her proud mom captured her runway debut on her Instagram stories screaming “Go Northie!” and “Woo!” in the background. Her kid was a natural!

North isn’t new to fashion. For one thing, her mother is a fashion influencer herself who also encourages her daughter’s interest in the industry. In fact, in July, while other 5-year-olds were off to summer camp, North reportedly enrolled in a design camp with a friend. It culminated in a fashion show where North wore a patterned dress and bright, tufted vest. It’s unclear if she had any hand in designing what she was wearing but we’re pretty sure she chose it.

North has also been known to experiment with her mother’s makeup. Kim once shared a hilarious video of the little girl sampling her NPP Mario makeup. When her mom asked her to turn around and show what she’s done to her face, the little girl turned and revealed a face full of grey eyeshadow to her mother’s amusement. Here’s that cute clip.
