Tracee E. Ross shows off curves in leopard bikini after revealing truth about her sexuality
Tracee Ellis Ross might be 45, but she could easily pass for 30 in a recent bikini pic shared to her Instagram account. The actress and comedian recently attended the Emmy Awards and got a lot of attention for her haute-couture look.
The “Black-Ish” star sets the pace when it comes to self-confidence on social media. She’s not afraid of sharing her bared face, her natural hair or her body on display for her followers to watch. And in one of the most recent photos from her mid-September vacation, Tracee showed off her toned figure without a shame.
In the Instagram pic, Ross is basking under the sun while sitting on a towel and leaning back on her hands. Looking off camera as the light enhanced her luminous skin, Tracee rocked a black and orange leopard print bikini with ruffles around the edge.
Her hair was styled in two buns, and she used a bold pink lipstick to highlight her face in the photo. Tracee’s caramel skin and firm body stole the attention of her fans, who filled her comment section with praises and compliments for the actress.
One of them was @victorysjourneyI, who wrote:
“I wish my tummy was so flat...Just flawless,”
while @kimberlyjustine_ was appalled for more than just Tracee’s body:
“Yessss Tracee, You are goalsssss. Mind, body, and soul - you’ve got the whole package. Love you!”
And @lhallnsr99 even brought Tracee’s mom, Diana Ross, into the picture:
“Hell yes, Tracy Ellis is voluptuously fine dragging it for real, beautiful like her mom More endowed.”
STEALING THE SPOTLIGHT AT THE EMMYS
Ross spent a few days in Mexico while getting a tan and a well-deserved rest before the ceremony of the Emmy Awards, in which she was nominated for “Black-ish” as “Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.”
For the big day, Tracee stunned with a Valentino haute-couture dress that made every head turn when she stepped into the red carpet. The off the shoulder neon pink gown featured a cinched waist fit and oversized fluffy sleeves that added a dramatic touch to the look. Tracee highlighted her facial features with a pink touch in her lips and eyes, and her hair was effortlessly tied in a high bun.
While neither “Black-Ish” nor Tracee won an award at the ceremony, the 45-year-old enjoyed a beautiful night with the rest of her cast, and she took to Instagram to share an adorable photo with her on-screen kids, Yara Shahidi, Miles Brown, Marsai Martin, and Marcus Scribner.
STEALING THE SPOTLIGHT WITH HER STANCE ON SEXUALITY
Last year, Tracee made it to the headlines after giving a powerful and encouraging speech at the Glamour’s Women of the Year Summit, where she made emphasis on the fact that society is always diminishing a woman’s worth in the world by her role as a wife and a mother.
Tracee explained that, despite being a successful actress, model, and businesswoman, she’s often being asked when is she going to start a family, and if she’s ready to have kids; as if everything else that she has accomplished in life means nothing if she doesn’t have a family.
“My worth gets diminished as I am reminded that I have ‘failed’ on the marriage and carriage counts,” she stated.
“Me! This bold, liberated, independent woman. I mean, I work out, eat well, I mostly show up to work on time, I’m a good friend, A solid daughter, a hard worker, my credit is good, I take out the garbage before it gets smelly, I recycle, and I won a Golden Globe! I’m killing it!”
However, Ross has learned not to let what other people think of her to dictate how she lives her life, and she has learned to own her flaws and qualities from her iconic mom, Diana Ross.
According to what she said in an interview with Glamour magazine a few months ago, Tracee, like her mom, has embraced her sexuality with a new found confidence, knowing that there’s nothing sexier than a woman who is sure about her body and that owns it.
She stated:
“My mom is a sexy woman—that is part of her persona—and that is a delicious thing that has never felt scary to me. Recently I learned about this wonderful term, sex-positive, and that is the way I feel. [For me] the answer to the objectification of women and black women in our culture is not to shut down my sexuality but to own it as something that is mine.”
Tracee has become an example for women all over the world who feel insecure about themselves, and she’s continuously speaking up about all of the issues that affect women these days, no matter race, religion or sexuality.
