Tom Hanks crashes couple's wedding

The couple Elizabeth and Ryan got a big surprise on their wedding day when Tom Hanks stopped by.

The newlyweds were in Central Park where New York City photographer Meg Miller was busy taking wedding photos.

Ahead of their wedding day Miller wrote on Facebook:

“I am so excited to capture their wedding this weekend!”Miller was busy taking photographs when someone walked into frame, and she puts her camera down."

Miller has had some celebrity experiences before, but nothing like this. The man that walked into the frame strolled straight up the newlyweds, took his hat off and introduced himself:

“Hi, I’m Tom Hanks.”

Miller took photos as Tom Hank posed with the newlywed couple for some shots.

Tom Hanks himself snapped a few selfies with them and after posting them on Instagram and Twitter he captions it:

“Elisabeth and Ryan! Congrats and blessings! Hanx.”

After their chance meeting with Tom Hanks Miller added a follow-up post:

“Yesterday's wedding was so beautiful! Elisabeth and Ryan, you planned one amazing celebration. The icing on the cake was Tom Hanks stopping in Central Park to wish them congratulations”

Miller’s photos got over a million hits online after an Imgur user posted:

“Photographer I know was taking pictures for a couple’s wedding and someone special happened to walk by..”
