Serena Williams is melting hearts with her most recent photo of baby Olympia wearing a tutu, reminiscent of her mom's U.S. Open outfit – and showing off her love for tennis at just 1-year-old. The smart girl did something unusual to console Williams after her U.S Open loss.

Alexis Olympia is her mother’s twin in a recent pic shared to the tennis star’s Instagram account. In the photo, the girl is walking through the hallways of a place with flower printed walls, wearing an adorable white dress with a tutu, matching thighs, a pair of silver sparkling shoes and a pink bow adorning her hair.

Olympia looks curious as she walks with a tennis ball on her hand, making her mom gush about her in the caption that says:

“I will always protect you. I will always stand up for you. I will always guide you. I will always be with you-you. I was put here to be your mom. I love you like nothing I’ve ever loved before. I thank Jehovah every day for you. Your momma.”

Fans of the 23-times Grand Slam champion were excited about the picture, predicting a great future for Olympia in the tennis court. One user wrote “Nice young star. I am waiting to see you on the pitch. So praying for you,” and another added, “You are no longer the future. She is. And Jehovah God will never forsake her. Cause she's going to be greater than her mom. A.”

GETTING COMFORT IN HER DAUGHTER’S ARMS

After being defeated on the U.S Open by Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams was more than upset. Not only did she lost her 24th title, but she also faced a massive backlash for her heated discussion with the chair umpire of the game.

After leaving the court and going through all the requirements to leave, Serena only wanted one thing: to find her daughter and spent time with her. Olympia was waiting in the car, and Williams is sure the baby could feel her distress because she did something she had never done before.

Speaking to a “No Filter” podcast clip posted for Mamamia, Williams recalled the situation:

“I got in the car, and Olympia was in the car. It was so weird. She started giving me kisses; she never gives me kisses. She doesn’t even know to give kisses ... and she just grabbed me.”

“This little baby is so smart,” she added.

FINDING THE BALANCE

A few days ago, Serena attended the 5th Annual Imagine Ball benefiting Imagine LA, where she was honored. Speaking to People at the event, Serena opened up about the struggles of being a working mom and having to split her time between her daughter and her businesses adventures.

“It’s been so hard balancing being a mom and starting my clothing line, as well as playing a professional sport!” she said. “However, it is the challenge that makes it fun!”

She also revealed that Olympia is going through another milestone, as her teeth are starting to come out.

“I have spent every day with Olympia since she was born, and one of the latest challenges has been her teething,” added the mother of one. “I’m sure a lot of parents can relate. A milestone has been her walking — I get a good workout chasing her around the house!”
