Reba McEntire brings back her iconic red dress for magnificent duet with Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson received a warm welcome at the American Country Music, ACM Awards show. Her duet with Reba McEntire was one the highlights of the show.

Clarkson who was received as family by the ACM audience. She is also technically related to Reba, her father-in-law’s former wife. Clarkson is married to Brandon Blackstock and his father is Narvel Blackstock.

Kelly Clarkson, who now sings pop music, is no stranger to country music. In her former years she embraced the genre, singing hits such as Because of you, which was a collaboration with .Reba McEntire. She also collaborated with Jason Aldean on Don’t you Wanna stay, a hit that topped the charts.

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, ACM Awards paired several artists. This was said to be a walk down memory lane, featuring country music songs which were released in 1993. The artists delivered and the audience loved it.

Clarkson and McEntire gave a stirring performance of Does He Love You. A duet originally sung and performed by Reba McEntire and Linda Davis. The theme of the song focused on a back and forth between a wife and mistress. It forced each woman to question the man’s love for her.

Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire have performed this duet several times over the years, and each time was bigger and better than the previous performance. Their performance at this year’s ACM Awards did not disappoint.

McEntire also featured her famous red dress. This dress was what she wore when she first performed the duet with LInda Davis, at the Country Music Awards show, CMA. At the the time the red dress created quite a buzz. It was only fitting that she showcased it for the ACM Awards' 25th Anniversary. This was to the delight of her audience, as it made the performance memorable. The revival of the duet was unforgettable and a perfect fit for the show.
