Kate Middleton turns heads with a new hairstyle as she emerges after maternity leave

Duchess Kate’s maternity leave after giving birth to her son, Prince Louis, ended on October 2, and she rocked a new hairdo during her first official appearance.

The mother of three visited the Sayers Croft Forest School, as well as the Wildlife Garden at Paddington Recreation Ground in London wearing leather boots, brown pants, and a green jacket covering a grey sweater and a black and white Polka dot shirt.

While her event-appropriate clothes were an important aspect of the outing, people focused on her shorter haircut. Apart from the length, Kate also modified the color a bit, adding caramel highlights.

Us Magazine revealed that changing her hairstyle after a baby-related milestone was something common for the Duchess.

AN USUAL DECISION

When she welcomed Princess Charlotte to the world and returned from maternity leave, she got bangs. Years later, just before announcing that she and Prince William were expecting baby Louis, Kate debuted a lob.

As Mirror reported, a group of excited children greeted Kate with several flowers when she arrived at the school. Later, they gathered around her and hugged her legs, and the lady talked to them for a while.

ATTENDING A COUPLE OF EVENTS

Even though Kate had been on maternity leave since April, when Louis was born, she had been spotted a couple of times before that resting period ended. One of the first times was during Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding on May 19.

THE COUPLE’S NIGHT OUT

Kate and William reportedly had a great time together on a rare night out at Mustique’s famous Basil’s Bar, run by their friend, legendary barman Basil Charles.

Mick Jagger and his daughter, Jade, reportedly were present during the event, as well. The royal couple was said to have a great time at the party.

That outing was part of the couple’s vacations taken in August, wherein they visited the private Caribbean island with Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.
