Dolly Parton bewitched fans singing together with Keith Urban & Vince Gill
On October 5, 2010, fans had a once in a lifetime experience at a benefit for The Country Music Museum and Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee. They got to see three country music legends collaborating together.
Dolly Parton, Keith Urban and Vince Gill enthralled the crowd. Parton led the song “He Stopped Loving Her Today” with the other two on instruments.
At The Country Music Museum and Hall of Fame eight years ago, artists were asked to do a song from one of their "heroes." Dolly Parton chose George Jones' classic “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”
She was accompanied on vocals and instruments by Keith Urban and Vince Gill. The three country singers blended together amazingly as they took the crowd on a musical journey.

The old classic was written by Bobby Braddock and Curly Putman. They wrote about a friend who never gave up on his long lost love.

As the years passed, the friend would keep looking back on old mementoes of his past relationship now that his love was gone. Before she left, he’d promised her that he would never stop loving her.

Now believing him, she told him he’d get over her one day. However, the heartbroken man never lost hope that she would return to him one day.
He hoped on that day they would put the past behind them and move on with their relationship. The song concludes with him finally stopping to love her on the day he died. She, on the other hand, did return to see him one last time at his funeral.
The three country stars managed to convey the emotion of the song in an amazing fashion. When the performance was done the crowd went wild with applause.
