Beyoncé pays tribute to 'best friend' JAY-Z with PDA video from 'On the Run II' tour
After a widely successful "On The Run II" tour, Beyonce made sure to pay tribute to one of the men who made it all happen - her husband Jay-Z.
Their second "On The Run" tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales, last June, and after what seemed to be such a quick three months, they finally ended their run in Seattle, Washington just last Tuesday, October 4. In total, it was reported that more than 2.1 million fans across the UK, Europe, and North America flocked to their concerts just to see the Carters in action.
Of course, after the success of their tour, Beyonce made sure to thank all those who made it happen, starting with the person who she took the stage with every single night.
In a sweet and heartwarming tribute, Beyonce filled her Instagram page with photos of her and Jay-Z sharing backstage kisses and PDA moments in-between sets, hoping to show just how strong their relationship is now despite all the issues that they've faced in the past.
Addressing Jay by his real name, Beyonce called him her "Clyde" and her "best friend". According to the international superstar, their tour has been one of the highlights of her life, as they were able to not just perform together, but see the world together while they were at it.
"To Shawn Carter, my Clyde, my best friend: this journey on OTR2 has been a highlight of my life. Thank you for every moment. I’ll be your hype man any day! To the Hive and all the fans who supported OTR2, cheers to you and I. Salud!"
Of course, Queen Bey also made sure to thank all those who joined them in their OTR II journey, including her crew, family, and friends, giving a special shoutout to her dad, Mathew Knowles, whom people thought was not in good terms with the rest of his family due to his infidelity scandal a few years back.
However, it seems all is well in the Knowles family, as Mathew was joined by Tina in congratulating their daughter backstage after their final tour date.
Now that their second tour is over, Beyonce and Jay-Z can now enjoy the fruits of their hard work with the rest of their family, taking some time off to be with their children.
