Like any bride, Eugenie held a bouquet of flowers. Although the arrangement was unique with a personal touch, the Princess had one flower that stuck with Royal tradition.

For her wedding, Princess Eugenie, 28, wore a Peter Pilotto dress. Her father, Prince Andrew walked her down the aisle for her special day.

In her arms, she held a bouquet which was created by floral designer Rob Van Helden's sister, Patrice Van Helden Oakes. It consisted of Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis pips, baby blue thistles, white roses, and trailing ivy.

This tradition dates back to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert's daughter Victoria's wedding in 1858. Some of the more modern brides who have honored it are Queen Elizabeth II, the Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duchess of Sussex.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, 32, announced their engagement in January. They had been together for eight years.

In 2010, they were introduced to each other by mutual friends during a skiing trip to Switzerland. Brooksband then proposed to Eugenie while on vacation in Nicaragua in early 2018.

The engagement ring was a pale pink padparadscha sapphire and diamond ring. A few weeks later, during an interview, the groom had this to say about the ring:

"I went and found an amazing padparadscha sapphire, but then didn't want to do anything until Eugenie had signed off on it."
