All black because it's a funeral for my fat! My surgery is getting so close. If you are new here I'm having a bottom 360 lift due to loose skin and my skin causing me pain. Woke up and hit the gym to work on my abs followed by cardio with my girls at my local pulse/zumba class. You never regret a workout! I have been working lately on really flexing my muscles, watching my sodium, staying hydrated and increasing my protein! Small changes add up and diet is key! Putting in the hard work and grinding with my head down. Remember to watch my story for behind the scenes of my workouts. Rise & grind! #dietbet #fatgirlfedupsdietbet #dietbet #sweat #exercise #workout #fattofit #obesetobeast #beastmode #fitfam #fedupfam #motivation #workout #exercise #weightlossjourney #weightloss #fit #muscles #flex

#transformationtuesday same dress edition. The picture on the left was when my husband @discoveringdanny asked me to be his wife. I had no idea it was coming and I cried like a baby. Thankfully his mom was there to catch the moment despite also having no idea. He loved me then the same way he loves me now. Two years before that time, Lexi and Danny weighed 485lbs and 280lbs respectively. Fed up with the unhealthy lifestyle that saw them consuming 8,000 calories daily, the couple determined at the beginning of 2016 to shed off the weight.

In an inspiring story accompanying her post, Lexi recalled how they had no professional help in losing the weight but was still able to achieve the most:

“We didnt have a meal plan, surgery, personal trainer, but what we did have was each other & the motivation within to work hard every single day. We wanted to be parents in the future and live a longer life together. We had no idea that in just over a year 6 months we would be a completely different couple. We may have lost the weight but we have grown closer together. Pound by pound, step by step, day by day - we have transformed our lives and molded our bodies into the people we've always wanted to be.”

#throwbackthursday Same girl, same gym, but a completely different life. I've been on both sides and I want you to know battling obesity instead of choosing to just live with it was one of the best choices I made for myself. The girl on the left wished for so many years to be the girl on the right. She wanted it more than anything but always talked herself out of her own greatness and thought others had a secret to how they changed their life, or that she was just big boned. However that's the thing wishing, making excuses, comparing, and never taking the steps to start held her back from who she could be. I am proof that we can hit our rock bottom, but we dont have to stay there. I am proof it's never too late to change your life and that if we put in the work we can all see the greatness in each of us. Start today! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DIETBET JUST STARTED! Who's fedup and ready for a fall fightback? Lexi also used the opportunity to encourage others who may be trying to shed weight and commit to a life of healthy living.

“This man has been by my side for the last 10 years and treated me no different at 485lbs than he does at 182lbs. We all deserve to live a life we are in love with and have people around that make it worth living. We hope others will hear our story & decide not to give up!”

KEEPING ON

If there’s anyone who knows what it means not to give up, it’s Lexi and Danny. Daily Mail reports that the couple tossed out the usual fast-food diet for home-cooked meals instead and worked out at the gym five to six times every week, but they’re not nearly done.

In more recent posts on Lexi’s page, she and her husband have lost even more weight and are staying consistent with their fitness routine. On October 12, Lexi shared an emotional post originally made by her husband.

Danny wrote alongside their cuddled-up selfie:

“This cutie @fatgirlfedup decided she wanted to go to Universal for her birthday and ofcourse I couldn't say no! This is something that wasn't possible for us 99% of our relationship. Lexi got turned down on her first rollercoaster and ill never forget how hurt she was. Talk about a non scale victory!”

The Reeds have truly come a long way!

LOVE-INSPIRED WEIGHT LOSS

In another tale of love and weight loss, John Allaire, previously weighing 540lbs, was inspired to lose weight after getting engaged to his childhood sweetheart, Caila. John said he didn’t want his family to suffer as a result of health implications from his obesity.

The determined man put in the work and even signed up for a grueling program, eventually losing 317lbs! You can read the rest of John’s inspirational story and the difficulty he faced getting rid of the excess skin, here.
