Halle Berry shares adorable photo of son wearing safety gear while roller skating

Halle Berry, known as a very protective mother when it comes to their children’s identity, took to Instagram to share a photo of her son, Maceo, roller skating.

In the post, the five-year-old boy appeared wearing a dark blue ensemble with light blue roller skates and a helmet with flames painted on it. Maceo was looking down, so his face was not visible.

For the caption, the actress wrote: “Rolling with the homies,” suggesting that her son was playing with some of his friends. As soon as Halle uploaded that image, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

Even though she didn’t show Maceo’s face, people were glad that the actress shared such a moment with them. Apart from that, Instagram users pointed out that the boy has grown up so much.

MACEO’S FACE

In July this year, Halle stepped out of her comfort zone and uploaded a photo of Maceo during their tropical vacation to Bora Bora in French Polynesia. The image portrayed the boy sitting on a boat looking to the side.

The right half of his face was completely visible, something that shocked her followers as it was the first time that she allowed such thing. One of the aspects that people pointed out was how similar Maceo and his mother look.

TALKING ABOUT HER DECISION

Soon later, she was in a conversation with Extra and talked about the decision. “That was a struggle. I really don’t like to show my kids very much … but I do realize … my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like I want to include them.”

The actress added that it was a fine line as she doesn’t want to exploit her children. Instead, she wants to protect them, so “half the face is good.” Maceo was born in October 2013. His father is Halle’s ex-husband, French actor Olivier Martinez.

A CONTROVERSY

Recently, Halle was involved in an uncomfortable controversy as a man named Heath Wilson accused her of sexually assaulting him at a party. According to his story, both of them were at the same party, and he accidentally knocked down her drink. Instead of accepting his apology, she allegedly grabbed him by his crotch.

Halle replied saying that she didn’t know him. Apart from that, she told him that he couldn’t go there making such comments and get away with it as she has never disrespected anyone the way he described.

After her response, Wilson switched his Instagram profile to private, which is a sign that Berry's fans blasted him with comments as well.
