Melania Trump wears smart tartan coat for trick-or-treating
First Lady of the United States Melania Trump joined her husband on the orange carpet to hand out candy to youngsters. Melania was well-dressed for the Halloween celebrations.
Donald and Melania hosted an event for local children and military families at the White House. They stood on the South Lawn. It was decorated with lots of pumpkins, hay bales, and autumn trees.
The POTUS and his wife were not in costume themselves. Donald wore a simple black suit. But Melania looked like a dainty queen of Halloween.

She showed off a black-and-yellow striped coat that featured five large black buttons on the front. The loose coat came to just below her knees.
The 48-year-old held onto a dark brown wicker basket with orange bowties on the handle. She and Donald distributed treats including Twizzlers and Hershey bars according to the Washington Post.
Fog machines infused the air as music filled the area. The U.S. Air Force band performed Halloween-style versions of themes from "The Addams Family," "Harry Potter," and "Bewitched." They also played Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
The event took place between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Other activities included a moon carpet from NASA and a tractor from the Department of Agriculture.
Parents got entry via tickets given by the Department of Education and the White House Military Office.
Last year, the pair held a similar event for attendees. They invited children from over 20 schools within the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia to attend.
There was spooky music and fog machines as well. Kids dressed up as police officers, athletes, dinosaurs, and skeletons to name a few.
And just last month, two adorable kids dressed up as the POTUS and FLOTUS themselves for "Billionaire's Day" at their school.
One Mississippi couple worked with another family. Together, they dressed up Brantley and Adeline, 4, as President Trump and the First Lady.
The boy wore a suit paired with a red hat saying "Make America Great Again." And the little girl wore a baby blue long sleeve dress complete with silky gloves.
