1. She was born in Malibu, California

Cleo was born in Malibu, California on September 17, 1984, shortly after her parents got married. Growing up, she decided to choose a different career path to her parents, which led her interest to music.

2. She graduated from Joanne Barron/D.W. Brown Acting Studio

Cleo went to Joanne Barron/D.W. Brown Acting Studio and studied singing from 2002 to 2006. While studying Italian opera, she also started her modeling career and appeared in a live hair styling show in 2003, “Sexyhair.” She also received classic opera training from Charity Chapman following her graduation.

3. She appeared in Malibu Times Magazine with her parents

Although Cleo has appeared in numerous fashion magazines as a popular model, one of the highlight moments of her life was when she was featured alongside her family on the July 29, 2013, edition of Malibu Times Magazine.

4. She is a member of ASCAP

Cleo is also a celebrated member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. Joining the community further advanced her musical career as her tutor Chapman introduced her to Bobby Harby, a music producer.

Together, they finished the studio works and later Cleo released her album in 2008. Prior to this, she had only written one song for her album.

5. She is violent with her mother

In 2011, her mother, Katharine, filed for a protective order against her own daughter. Katharine often complained that her daughter abused her emotionally and verbally, and it only grew more violent as Cleo grew up. Before filing for the protective order, Cleo had allegedly warned her mother that she would kill her.

Cleo is the only daughter of Sam and Katharine, one of the most iconic couples in Hollywood, who have been together ever since they married in 1984, as reported by Country Living.

The couple met on the sets of the horror movie, “The Legacy,” and quickly decided to get together. It was Katharine’s fifth marriage and Elliott’s first.
