Tia Mowry melts hearts with picture of husband Cory Hardrict & baby daughter Cairo on his birthday

Tia Mowry celebrates her husband's birthday by sharing a cute photo of him with their little girl. Tia also reveals why baby Cairo doesn't seem too happy in the pic.

It was Cory Hardrict’s birthday recently and Tia Mowry paid tribute to her husband by sharing a photo of him carrying their precious baby girl, Cairo.

Cory looked dapper in a camel-colored suit in the photo his wife posted. He held on to his daughter who matched him in a mustard sweater and knitted bonnet. The tiny tot who was born in May appeared less than ecstatic in the snap. However, her mother writes in her caption that she’s currently teething which explains her lack of interest in smiling for the pic.

CARING FOR CAIRO AND CREE

Tia and Cory have been delighting in the presence of their second child whose birth completes their family-of-four. The couple has an older son, Cree who’s 7. With the addition of Cairo, Tia recently revealed it’s been tough trying to balance her attention between her two children with the big gap. In a recent video, she speaks about the struggles of parenting two kids.

“I think the biggest change and challenge is trying to balance giving my son the attention that he deserves.”

Cree was used to being the only child in the family until Cairo came along. Tia learned he was jealous of Cairo and told her one day that he noticed she gave Cairo more kisses.

“My heart just dropped,” Tia says upon hearing Cree say that.

Tia realizes that as much as Cree needs her time and attention, her son needs her too. To address this, Tia reveals she’s created date nights with Cree.

“Every Sunday it’s just me and my son. We talk, we have fun, sometimes we’ll go out to eat. It’s just him and I and I’m asking him questions about how he’s feeling, how was his day. I’m just giving him the attention and love that he deserves.”

Tia also tries to involve Cree in taking care of Cairo. One of the earlier photos she shared of Cairo showed Cree feeding her a bottle.

She likewise shared a photo where the two are just chilling in bed.

CHEERS TO CORY

Tia is also grateful to have Cory standing in and helping her with parenting duties. Cory would often be photographed taking care of Cree during nap time.
