'Brady Bunch' cast unite for new 'Very Brady' TV-project

Members of "The Brady Bunch" cast have come together for a TV project that will chronicle the renovation of the beloved sitcom’s iconic home.

They will pair up with popular HGTV stars for the new reality show titled “A Very Brady Renovation,” as reported by PEOPLE.

The show will document the overhauling of the house that served as the Brady home’s exterior from 1969 to 1974.

On Nov. 1, 2018, the six Brady siblings - Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) - came together for the first time in 15 years and announced that they will take part in the house’s makeover.

NOSTALGIC STARS

Each actor will pair up with designers to fully restore the home for the show that will premiere in 2019.

The actors couldn’t hide their joy and excitement. “You know when there are times in your life where everything comes together, and it just feels like it was so meant to be, and everything feels right? That’s how this feels,” said Maureen McCormick, 62, who played Marcia Brady, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The actress will team up with Drew and Jonathan Scott from the Property Brothers.

Drew said they want to make sure that what they do is exactly what the house should look like.

“Our responsibility is that we don’t screw this up,” he said.

REMODELING THE HOUSE

Jonathan said the interior of the house will need to be remodeled and the landscaping around the front façade need to be fixed up.

He said he’s excited to see how the sitcom’s cast would react to the house. “Now, they’ll be able to come into this house when it’s done, walk up the stairs and go to their bedrooms that they had when they were kids,” he said.

HGTV purchased the famous home in August, after a much-publicized bidding war with NSYNC singer Lance Bass.

Other HGTV stars taking part in the new show are "Good Bones" stars Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine were also on hand for the on-camera walk-through, as were Leanne and Steve Ford, of "Restored by the Fords," "Hidden Potential" star Jasmine Roth, and Lara Spencer, of "Flea Market Flip”.

HGTV, which documented the stars’ tour of the house, said in a statement that it will create a "show-stopping transformation" of the Brady house.
