A ROMANTIC SURPRISE VISIT FOR THE FORMER FIRST LADY

Michelle Obama got a romantic treat when her husband, former President Barack Obama, popped by her book tour with a bouquet of pink flowers in hand.

The former First Lady is on tour promoting her memoir "Belonging," which was published by Crown, and launched on November 13, 2018 to general acclaim.

“This is like — you know when Jay-Z comes out during the Beyoncé concert? Like, ‘Crazy in Love’?”

Barack Obama

Barack quipped that he was acting like Jay-Z when the singer shows up at his wife's Beyoncé's concerts for a surprise visit. Michelle is a dedicated fan of Beyoncé and never misses a concert, even going to Paris in the Summer to attend one of the singer's performances.

In her memoir, Michelle revealed the she and Barack had once consulted a marriage counselor. She explained that her revelation was to show people that it is necessary to seek help and that problems in a marriage are normal:

“If you’re in a marriage and there are times you want to leave, that’s normal — because I felt that way.”

The problems seem to be a thing of the distant past, and the former presidential couple has confessed to having rediscovered romance now that their oldest daughter Malia has gone to college, and Sasha is too busy at high school to pay attention to her parents.
