Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman sell a house they have owned for years
After more than two years trying to sell one of their properties for a satisfactory price, the entertainment industry power couple finally shed their beautiful rural retreat for $2.7 million.
Country singer Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman, both 51 years old, bought the 36-acre compound 12 years ago for $2.45 million, according to Variety, and images of the luxury main house were released.
The 5,086 square feet red-brick home has 4 bedrooms, 4 full and 2 half bathrooms, and is located in Franklin, Tennessee, just 25 miles south of downtown Nashville.
Apart from the living spaces, the mansion includes a gym, office space, a three-car garage, and a utility barn. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
Next to the main house, there is a white guest cottage that can be used both as a guesthouse and for housing the property caretakers or staff. Both buildings are surrounded by a huge forest.
Large windows are a theme throughout the main house and the stunning natural exteriors are always visible, contrasting with the pale, neutral-colored interiors.
Although the high-profile couple has lived in the Nashville for some time now, they have kept many homes in different cities and countries, including a penthouse in Sydney, a Beverly Hills house, and a duplex in New York City.
In the corner of the living room, there is a piano that, we assume, Urban kept around for when he felt suddenly inspired.

While Kidman was born in Hawaii and Urban in New Zealand, both of them grew up in Australia. The two met for the first time in 2005, at the G’Day USA gala, which honors Australians in Los Angeles. They got married in 2006, and they share daughters Sunday, 10, and Faith, 7.
Despite their demanding careers and insistent divorce rumors, they have managed to make the relationship work happily for 12 years.
On November 1, Urban turned 51, and Kidman used the occasion to publicly show her great love for her husband with a sweet love note in social media, while the singer was on tour.
More recently, on November 15, Kidman accompanied Urban to the 2018 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards, on which the musician was granted the prestigious “Entertainer of the Year” award.
As the “Cold Mountain” star watched proudly from the audience, a teary Urban gave a heartfelt speech on which he remembered his late father, who passed away in 2015, saying: “I wish my dad was alive to see this.”
