"She'd really just be so proud. Even before they got married, Diana would have been literally going, 'I can't believe these boys have done so well.' They are such a credit to her,” she expressed.

As for Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, the Duchess said that Princess Diana would have loved the two women.

She exclaimed, "I honestly think she would be so proud of the wonderful Meghan and Catherine as well. She'd want to embrace them and say, 'You're doing well.'"

Prince Harry said the same sweet remarks during his engagement interview with BBC in November 2017. He was asked by the reporter what Princess Diana would think of Markle, he answered, "They'd be thick as thieves, without question. And she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, so excited for me."

Ferguson was married to Prince Andrew, and they share Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who recently exchanged vows with Jack Brooksbank.

At some point in the interview, Ferguson talked about spending her early years without social media, and what words of wisdom does she give to her daughters about being in front of the public eye.

She said, “I often say to my girls, ‘I’ve been there, made the mistakes.’ So they know what not to do, which is really cool actually. So the best thing I can say to anyone is, if I’m talking to my girls, be who you are.”

Ferguson has been in the spotlight for decades and had tons of experience under her belt. One of the many aspects of her life that had been widely documented in the past was her close friendship with Princess Diana.

The pair knew each other for years before they were even married into the royal family. While they were both distant relatives, their parents also went to the same school together.

During their early adult years, they would spend quality time going to lunch dates together.
